All Saints Church is served by six different guilds.
The descriptions below summarize their missions.
Altar Guild
The altar guild works closely with the Rector to care for all the appointments used in association with the altar, including vessels, vestments, paraments, linens, etc. The primary task each week is to prepare the chancel for the day's service.
Primary Tasks
Vest the altar in the appropriate seasonal colors; Maintain appropriate store of bread and wine; trim and oil the candles as needed; launder linens, care for frontals and lecturn hangings.
Usher's Guild
The usher's guild serves to welcome those who attend services, providing directions, pew sheets, and information as desired.
Primary Tasks
Attend service early to provide pew sheets; welcome and greet visitors and provide brief directions for participating in the service; provide directions to nursery, classrooms, restrooms, etc.
Hospitality Guild
The hospitality guild plans 10-12 events each year for parish-wide gatherings, which are published to the parish.
Primary Tasks
Plan and/or schedule, on average, one event per month; publish notices of gatherings to parish through the pew sheet, website, and e-vites.
Fellowship Guild
Provide refreshments at services for coffee hour.
Primary Tasks
Maintain a schedule of parishioners in the donut ministry who are tasked with provided refreshments each Sunday morning; arrive early to make coffee for the fellowship hour.
Mission & Outreach Guild
Provide leadership for mission and outreach to ministries supported by the parish.
Primary Tasks
Maintain a catalogue of ministries approved for engagement; maintain a list participants; inform the parish of new opportunities; engage every parishioner in at least the outreach opportunities each year.
Technology Guild
The tech guild maintains the digital presence of the parish online.
Primary Tasks
The tech guild is responsible to work with the pastoral staff to record homilies and make them available on the website; to work with the webmaster to curate content for the website; to push news and information through digital means.
